Read Ishmael!

Twenty years ago, my friend Bret recommended i read the novel Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. This month, after a long forgetting, i finally did read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. My mini mission now, for the benefit of life on this planet, is to get 100 other people to read it. To that end, i'm lending out a copy to the first person in my locale that wants it. Email me to claim it.

I won't say what the book is about, and i recommend you don't read its plot summary, lest it spoil the story's dramatic twists. But i will say that the book won the 500,000$ Turner Tomorrow Fellowship Award in 1991, a one-off prize created by Ted Turner to be awarded to an unpublished work of fiction offering creative and positive solutions to global problems.
