Sawbenches
Making big cuts at a high workbench can be awkward. The low sawbench was invented i-don't-know-how-many-hundreds-of-years-ago to solve that problem. So i built two of them, a European style one (instructions here)

and a Japanese style one (instructions here),

for the practice and to see which style i prefer. I'll update you later on this page when i find out. In the meantime, here's a cute family photo.
